Les Bains Guerbois perfumes capture the quintessence of a free, avant-garde, chic Paris through one of its most iconic addresses. The inspiration for our fragrances? A famous place – our place. First a spa, then a night club, then a hotel, it’s a place that could tell a thousand stories. A place of celebration, of well-being, and legend that continuously reinvents itself to embody the creative, glamorous, and festive side of Paris. And has for almost 140 years.
OUR STORY
Founded in 1885 by Auguste Guerbois, Les Bains Guerbois quickly became a Parisian temple of beauty and well-being where artists such as, Manet, Monet, Zola, Renoir, Proust and high society meet.
In 1978 the establishment, renamed Les Bains Douches, became one of the most famous nightclubs in the world which was an artists and celebrities hang out for a quarter of a century.
In 2015, movie producer and heir of the place, Jean-Pierre Marois, transformed it into a 5* boutique hotel, Les Bains Hotel and revived its club and Spa along the way.
In 2016, he reinvented Les Bains Guerbois by launching a first signature Cologne and a perfumed candle, ” Atmosphère ”. In 2018, he launched an award winning Eaux de Parfum collection Une date, Une histoire. Each fragrance is an olfactive journey to a specific year and story of Les Bains Guerbois rich past of almost 140 years.
In 2022, he launched the Formes & Matières collection, a synchronous, multisensory exploration of the premises. The first fragrances are Oud Laqué, Damier and Raku.
